Chief Carver on Mount Rushmore

 

 

After many decades Sculptor Luigi Del Bianco gets well deserved recognition at Mount Rushmore, in South Dakota as the Chief Carver under Gutzon Borglum.

I created the first bronze plaque of Luigi in 2014 for Port Chester, NY.

The second plaque dedicated in 2017, will now be mounted in the Rushmore Museum for generations.
